And as strange as it probably sounds, you clarified some things about the story for me. I mean I must have known them subconsciously, but I didn't think about them on a conscious level, either while writing or after. You've helped put things in context for me :)
This story...I really don't know where it came from, or why it worked the way it did (most of the sections were actually written out of order), or why it just flowed out of me (I actually don't have too much memory of writing it, except for finding the quotes, so it must've been a relatively easy write). I have often felt like I should ask the author to own up, because I have difficulty seeing my fingerprints on it.
