I'm trying to change my email address at ebay...but they want credit card or debit card information as identification. Apart from the fact I have neither, I wouldn't want to give them that information anyways, it's none of their damn business. I don't need to give them anything beyond my username and password to enter into a legally binding contract. Why do they need more to change my bloody email address?
So what am I supposed to do? Make a new account?

ETA: I seem to have found the reason, it's because it's a gmail address...
